Job Description

ITG Brands is in search of an agile, ROI-orientated individual to join our Field Sales Management team as a Division Sales Manager in the Asheville, NC area. The Division Sales Manager will work as a vital part of our Field Sales team partnering with Retailers and Wholesalers to drive volume and share strategies in the assigned area.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Division Sales Manager will develop positive working relationships with direct reporting Sales Representatives, Retail Stores, Chain Account Headquarters and Wholesalers by serving as the product expert for Cigarettes, Cigars and Vapor Products. The Division Sales Manager will be responsible for driving measurable business results in the assigned area, relative to sales and marketing initiatives, designed to maintain and / or increase sales & profitability, as well as managing and coaching Sales Representatives, overseeing promotional programs, securing and maintaining a notable retail presence including but not exclusive to merchandising, point-of-sale advertising and displays that convey brand availability to consumers.


  • Non-commission annual salary: $73,000 - $97,000 (based on experience)

  • Strategically leads Sales Representatives in maximizing sales, merchandising, brand distribution, and company promotion objectives to yield measurable business results
  • Ensures that Sales Team are effectively managing and planning proper strategies, analyzing data for additional opportunities within their assigned customer base, also creating conceptual sales approaches to opportunistically capitalize on these opportunities, while maximizing synergies
  • Conducts field visits and provides appropriate levels of follow through to ensure informed alignment with ROI-driven goals
  • Maintain applicable knowledge of company, industry and competitive information via cultivated trade relationships
  • Hiring, training and continuous development of a sales team to deliver on strategic initiatives
  • Encourage employee engagement by involving direct reports in the decision making process and recognizing and rewarding good performance
  • Responsible for implementation of ITG Brands Sales Policy & Procedures / Legal and Regulatory guidelines


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree*, or in lieu of degree, a high school diploma with 5 - 10 years work experience
  • Previous Sales Management Experience required
  • Be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license issued by the state in which employed
  • Have the ability to independently plan, organize and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Possess effective interpersonal and competent communication skills, including persuasiveness
  • Be able to work full time within the United States without sponsorship
  • Ability to travel overnight 5 days per month
  • Be able to operate a motor vehicle in a safe and legal manner
